I go by various names on the net,
(CHAT) I'm bubu. (NEWS GROUPS) I'm Buzz.
(On email) I'm Buddy (My Fathers nick name)
and in real life I go by the name Dann.

But don't call me late for supper...

  1. I was born in London, Ontario, Canada in the early 50's. Living with my mother and father till they divorced in 58. Because of the laws of Ontario at the time, I was put in the Protestant Orphanage Home were I lived on and off for part of my childhood. I attended Ryerson, Oxbow, St. Georges, and Lady Beck public schools, A.B. Lucas and H. B. Beal Secondary schools. I worked for Harveys, Ex-cello and Mc Hails shoes.
  2. I joined the Navy in June of 1975. I did my basic training in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia and trades training in Esquimalt, British Columbia. I served in Canada's Navy, at Halifax, Nova Scotia (on Canada's east coast) as a Signalman. I served in H.M.C.S Huron, H.M.C.S Preserver, H.M.C.S Protecteur, H.M.C.S Scotian, H.M.C.S Saguenay, H.M.C.S Ottawa, and H.M.C.S Shelburne (My side duty was Ships Barber in those days) and at Maritime Command Headquarters. In my 15th year with the Forces I remustered to the Intelligence branch and found myself posted to Lahr Germany. Then C.F.B. Shearwater and then in Canada's capital region @ Tunney's Pasture.
  3. Of interest, In June of 1990 I noticed a lump under my left arm and after 6 months of pissing around by the Canadian Military I was eventually diagnosed with a form of cancer called (Hodgkins Disease)..after getting zapped with 4500 rads of radiation, 3 months, 50 lbs and no hair later, I bounced back. I prefer a shaved head but let it grow through the Canadian winter months.
  4. One of the things I did when I retired from the Military was to buy my first computer and get on line and find other people with a "Hair Fetish". I check out the Newsgroups...there I found the alt.pictures.fetish.hair group and from there I eventually connected with and made a good friend in Dave Unger who ran one of the best hair fetish sites ever, he lived in the United States but has passed on now, bless his soul. After corresponding with Dave we both started up homepages. I started to scan in my some 3,000 hair related pictures I had collected to that time in my life and post them to the groups.
  5. I retired from the Military in Sept. of 1996 having server 21 years, and call my self a re-tired ex-hairy bag... Sailor.
  6. By being in the Military all those years, if you were to mention to others that you had a "Hair Fetish" you'd be looked down upon. Well all I say to them and to that is..."Up Yours"...my life is two thirds over and I'll do what I want and stick it to all you who think your any better.
  7. I just retired from working for a Foreign Counties Embassy and am enjoying being retired. I moved to Canada's East coast, back by the Ocean.
  8. I am married to a great Gal named Andrea , a good old down home girl, who gave me a great son named Christopher. Andrea encourages me in my fetish and makes my hobby exciting by having agreed to shave her own head and get a variation of hairstyles over the years. (Love ya Babe)
  9. Currently I am having health problems that affect my muscles and eyes , a disease called Kearns Sayre Syndrome. As a result, I sometimes do not have the strength or stamina to update my site so my wife Andrea assists me in the weekly update.
  10. I now have had my first and hopefully my only heart attack...beleive me, if you think your having a H.A., you'll know. Doing better now, on all kinds of medicines and trying to make it another 10 years.
  11. Of interest, I have updated my homepage each and every Friday or Saturday since early 1995. I post about 40 to 50 pictures each update. (I use php programing to make it easier to post pictures, no need to make thumbs.) It takes on the average of 1 hours to prepare a update. I have just over 650,000 hair related pictures on 15 DVD's. I have missed only 9 update in the last 9 years (Due to Server/Health problems). I use no HTML program to make my site, and thus, try to keep it simple. I have a, pentium IV computer, 1.86 Intel processors with two, 250 Gig HDs, 2 gig kingston ram. 2 DVD Burning Roms, cable modem, Canon MP300 printer/scanner, Logitech Quick Cam, ATI All In Wonder Video Capturer card to make AVI/MPEG movies, Kodac eashyshare CX7330-3.1 MP digital camera, with 17inch LCD Monitors,XP Home edition installed, I use a counter to keep count of visitors, getting on average 12,500 visitors per week.   12. To all those who visit my site, WELCOME. I hope you enjoy what I have created, and if you can contribute some personel pictures to the group, please do. I do not send out request photos but instead update my site each week.
  13. I strongly urge that my visitors purchase a CD of there favourite hair pictures because many of the photos I have on CD have not be seen in many, many years.
  14. And last but not least. I wish to at this time thank the leaders of our Fetish groups, people like Capt. Stanley, ZVI, Mike Chapman, Miles, The Catwalk, Dave Unger (RIP), Tomm Garrbard, Hardy, Bear and all the others, too many to mention. For without their dedication and great posting's, my site would have died long ago...."wait a go guys".
